Man it’s been awhile...

I can't wait for the New Year. I had a blessed 2009. It was pretty much recession proof even though I illustrate full time:0, Proposed, vacationed more than once, it was pretty awesome. But man, I can't wait to see what the next year will bring! I mean I have a couple ideas, a couple plans but you know what they say: while we make plans GOD laughs. I can't wait to see what's put in front of me.

Speaking of...

I've been in the lab hard trying to make sure I'm ready for the New Year with some fresh content. I'm 8pgs. in on "One Nation". Found a colorist to work with. Issues 1-3 are written and the first issue cover has been decided on, drawn and waiting to be colored. Also a new pitch is being written as we speak.

Been reworking my website to become the main hub for my new comics. Specifically, One Nation and Cubbs. I'll still have my illustration work up, but there will be special pages for each new property or idea as well.

"Cubbs" is being reworked for a launch on the site, yeah I'm talkin' webcomics ya’ll. A trailer is in the works...fully animated! So I'm excited for that.

Started doing concept design and laying out pages for a new (jeez J. another one?!) project called “Janos”. It’s the brainchild of my good friend Shane Nitzsche. Its big, high concept, and awesome, you gotta watch out for this one.

Working on a new comic with Inception Strategies, while my second with them is being colored and lettered at the moment.

Still bangin' out pages of "Dreadlocks". Gonna finish that this year too.

Gonna try to hit more conventions this year too.

So look for me it’s gonna be a great year.

Marvel Masterpiece Sketch Cards

Cards for the set.I can't believe there are guys that do like 1k of these, crazy! I like some more than others. It took awhile to get used to working so small.

Fun stuff I wish I had more time to play with these. Its like just when you get in the swing of a project its on to the next one...ah well, next time.
